SC denied Parakram Diwas as National Holiday

Recently a PIL was moved in apex court to declare Parakram diwas as a national holiday like Gandhi Jyanti.  A bench of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachaud and Justice JB Pardiwalla held that such plea are just a mockery of PIL jurisdiction and that the Government of India has jurisdiction over the subject and not the Supreme court.
