In the case of Anganwadi Karmachari Sanghatana v. ICDS Commissionerate, the Anganwadi Karmachari Sanghatana filed a writ suit to replace broken phones with smartphones that work with the Poshan Tracker app. Due to the non-operational handsets or mobile phones that were handed to them, Anganwadi employees in the situation at hand were unable to get an incentive.

Analysis of court order 

The Division Bench of Bombay High Court Justice G.S. Patel and Justice Neela Gokhal reprimanded the Government for the delay and advised them to prioritize the matter. Poshan A.B. The government is criticised by the Bombay High Court for taking too long to provide Anganwadi staff with working smartphones. The government was ordered by the Bombay High Court to give working smartphones to Anganwadi personnel.  

The Court criticised both the State and the Central Government for the delay and ordered them to make the necessary corrections, starting with acquiring, receiving, and distributing to the Anganwadi personnel functioning mobile phones and handsets compatible with the Poshan Tracker software. The Court additionally instructed the Government to give this issue a top priority and to avoid creating circumstances that would force the Court to set a deadline for finishing the current assignment.
